Physician Funnies, part I

"She states that she does not want to take a cortisone injection because she talked to somebody who was in the circus and that person told her that her foot would start flopping around. This is something new I'd like to spring on you. I have my own accounts, a surgical center, and I still subcontract. I enjoy my job thoroughly. I know, I know; sometimes doctors just don't earn our sympathy, but this gentleman quoted above seems to get the weirdest patients. All of them do. Every time I think I have something worth a chuckle, I will post it and we'll see how this goes. Unfortunately, a lot of the things I find amusing would only be funny to other MTs, nurses or other medical community members.

So, without hesitation, this is the first installment of Physician Funnies.
