I am SO far behind on my blogging. I have the time so I'm just cramming all kinds of stuff in here.
In December, my best friend, her daughter, me, and my daughter took a hop from St. Louis to Chicago to see King Tut.
We were not allowed cameras where the important stuff actually was, which was a bummer, but the details of the ancient craftsmanship was incredible. One sarcophagus was covered with 2-cm feathers, the entire thing in gold, all with little feathers. I had never seen the like, and spent quite a bit of time looking it over. Amazing how they treated their royalty.
